BACKGROUND INFORMATION:



- Born on January 29, 1970 in Janesville, Wisconsin.
- Married to Janna Ryan with three kids , Elizabeth, Samuel and Charles.
- Attended Joseph A. Craig High School, Miami University, American University
- His father worked as an attorney, and his mother was a stay-at-home mom. Ryan has one sister, Janet, and two brothers, Tobin and Stan.
-  Only comfortable talking about money and arguments about how middle-class people can benefit from unfettered capitalism, but doesn’t have an opinion on any other social issues like the LGBT community.
- Ryan has been serving as the U.S. representative of Wisconsin's Congressional District 1 since 1999 and has served ever since, after being elected in 1998 at age 28. 
- Ryan became interested in government after reading the literature of Ayn Rand, but later stated that he rejects Rand's philosophy because he believes it's based on atheism.
